End of April, Second Shot!

Hello, everyone!

The end of April is upon us! That’s not exactly exciting, but it does mean that we’re through 4 months of 2021, or a whole third of the way through the year. Doesn’t that feel just… impossible?

Well if it does to you, then we’re on the same page!

Today I’ll be getting my second vaccine shot, so that’ll finally be out of the way, too, which is great all around because the first one wasn’t that fun and while I’ll be down for the booster, I’ll be happy to have it behind me. 🙂

This year has just flown by so far, with so many releases that I’ve been excited to share for a while, and so many more to come… a woman can’t help but be a fair bit excited!

As a part of my own reading, as I mentioned before, I’ve been going back and going through some of Iago‘s old work. It’s really fascinating the way that they can so effectively make lesbianism into a cosmic horror? That’s basically the way I would describe their work, and I mean that in the most complimentary way that I possibly can. One won’t find the a lot of the traditional trappings of an mc story, but what they’ll find instead is a cosmic erotic horror of sorts, and it’s pretty great for that.

Various things have made me somewhat slow to get through much of it, but the five stories I’ve read through so far have this incredibly devious energy to them. From a Chain Letter morphing a woman’s comprehension of reality, to a reporter getting in over her head with a cult, to a twisted neurologist… Gosh, if you want to see a mind control story that is very uninterested in exploring “how” and just why and what.

Recommended!

Don’t forget you only have one last month to get in on the sale for Debased! It ends next week, and then the next sale will begin for May!

This week over on my Patreon the second half of “Why Buy the Cow When You Can Make Your Own?” will be available, and on ROM/the EMCSA, you’ll be getting to read Elven Mundanity, a followup to my story Elven Superiority.

There’s a lot of great writing still to come from me this year! On Tuesday the compilation Ink Slick Preamble drops! I’m so excited to have it on my shelf, and I hope at least some of you are, too!

But that’s all for me this week! Until next time?

Take care of yourselves, and each other! 🙂

Thoughts on Mind Control, Story Recommendations!

Hello, everyone!

I hope you’ve been having a decent April so far! Mine’s been alright. I’m very glad to be getting vaccinated, but also as a warning: be prepared to possibly feel like you have the flu for a good five days or more! It’s not very fun, but it’s much better than brain damage or lung scarring!

Wear a mask! Get vaccinated when you can if you don’t have legitimate health problems that make that impossible!

On other news, I’ve been doing a bit of reading lately, and I have some stories that you should read!

First off, have you read Modren‘s Whiteout? I feel like I’ve mentioned it a time or two but I can’t be bothered to check. If you haven’t, there’s never been a better time! The third follow-up to Whiteout, the Greyscale Anthology, is out now! Each of these are cute ongoing glimpses at the cast of Whiteout. Whiteout itself was a fun (if often anxiety inducing!) story about a super heroine who finds out she may or may not have a bit of a hypnosis fetish after running into the titular villain. I guess she technically isn’t the most titular, but she works for that more-or-less. Heavily recommended, give them a glimpse.

On the other hand, we have Skaetlett‘s Gatekeep Gaslight Girlboss. A hell of a title, right? This one is a fun look at a woman forced to take an internship as part of her college program, and well… a thing Skaetlett gets is how bad capitalists and business women really can be, and they use this to wonderful effect. It’s a fun read, and I recommend it if you like the thought of a businesswoman abusing an intern with mind control.

Additionally, I’ve been continuing to read through trilby as a before-sleep activity, and having a lot of fun with it. Recently finished a story that I don’t know how to properly describe besides “when you find out it was written in tribute to a dead character from another author’s work, you aren’t surprised.” Escapee is sad, and miserable, and it captures a thing I think is under represented sometimes…

Mind controllers who do the kinds of things you see in a lot of these stories?
Bad people. Really bad people.

Something makes me sad when a mind controller who does legitimately bad things is just glossed over, and you get this sense they’re both mind controlling women by the dozen but would never hurt a fly. That’s just… not how anything makes sense to me, without a good reason.

A follow-up to Escapee, Loveknot, also ended up on my to read list. It’s incredibly not Escapee, though it still shows how unrepentant many mind controllers are and expands on that universe in fun ways. It isn’t my favorite trilby story, but it’s still a good read.

So here you are, four stories you can read for free… so you can give them a look, then remember I have a sale going on all month!

All three books in the Debased series are on sale on Smashwords! Get yourself a copy today if you enjoy breasts as a mind control methodology and bratty women who always get what they want!

Don’t forget that this Tuesday, the final tale in the Ink Slick Preamble is being released! Be excited! Be hyped!

But most of all?

Take care of yourselves, and each other.

The Calm Before the Project

Hello again, everyone!

I hope you’ve all been doing quite well! I’ve been wrestling with Amazon over my paperback release, and I have an update on it, even if it’s hardly the news I want to have.

According to the customer service rep I spoke with, there was a kludge in the queue that publishes paperbacks, and my book got caught up in the mess. That’s not especially pleasant, but there’s nothing anyone can do about it. This unfortunately only fixed as of yesterday, so I had to basically start the publishing process over again, and given the 72 hour counter started all over again. That means hopefully it should be published by Saturday.

I know paperbacks aren’t a big thing for fetish smut, but honestly part of what convinced me to start this project was the allure of having my words on a shelf! At times it’s been stressful, but that’s never stolen from the fun of my words all in a row.

In the meantime, you can still pick up a copy of The Argent Road in ebook format on Amazon, and if you haven’t caught up, you’ll want to… because next week is the start of The Argentum Project!

The Argent Road - available now!
The Argent Road – available now!

I can hardly believe it, in just a few short days compared to the start of this project, we’re going to see the start of the next major arc. The Argentum Project was originally released in 2007, after The Memory Remains in 2006 took such a very, very long time to finish.

While The Memory Remains is a somber tale about recovery, The Argentum Project is what happens after our heroine brushes herself off, and rises to the next challenge she’s set herself.

It’s a really good time, and while it doesn’t abandon the darker themes of the series, it isn’t quite as somber.

I’d also like to make a couple of fiction shout-outs! Callidus, who you may remember from the podcast I’ve cohosted The Black Room is finally releasing a story that I had a hand in encouraging! His captions have been great for years, and his prose isn’t half bad either! Check out Compliance and Acquisition over on the EMCSA! You won’t regret it.

Another fun story recently concluded, Modren’s Trigger-Happy Girl Hunt. It’s a hell of a trip, and I for one have really been enjoying the way Modren weaves a scene of the ol emc. Check it out, another must-read!

For now, that’s me!

I really should update the ol website, but I’ve been stubbornly hoping to have another link to add. Serves me right, huh?

In the meantime… you can join me and others in my personal writing discord, the Madam Kistulot’s Domain, or in Mind Control Literature a more generalized server for all of your erotic mind control literature needs! We’d be happy to have you in either place… or both!

Until next time, take care of yourselves… and each other!

Story recommendations and anachronistic thoughts

Hello everyone!

I hope that today finds you well. I’m currently in a somewhat… precarious situation at the moment. If things get a little bit worse then there is a very real chance I could be forced to evacuate. I live in Oregon and well…

There are a lot of fires everywhere, the air is basically smoke, and my windows all are glowing a bright and vibrant yellow!

I have no way of knowing what will be coming next, but I’ll be doing my best to not let it affect me any more than it needs to. If it does, I should still be able to blog on the go, though productivity may be… thoroughly affected.

That said, I want to provide some positivity here if I can, so my first topic today? Stories you should read, and can read, right now!

It Rings for Thee by Doctor D. is a story I’ve recommended to anyone who cares to listen, and it’s so close to its conclusion! Even still, we’re getting more lore, more hot twisted flavors of fun… A story of corruption, and twisted wrongness, if you aren’t reading this story you’re doing yourself a disservice!

Saturday Morning Cartoon by Doctor D. is another delightfully twisted story from the brilliant genius who brought you It Rings for Thee! This time the world is post-magical girl, or post-apoc magical girl? I Recommend this one as much for the fun take on the genre as the sexy prose and the fun situations. This one is just starting, so get in on it now!

Tasmania by PlanetSurf is a story I loved from the start, and now that it’s found its stride I love it even more. It had a lot to set up so this newly released second installment could be so sexy… and it is! It is a delight. The darker directions it aims towards are so fun, too! I can’t wait to see what happens next, and I think you’ll be as hooked if you give it a glance.

Trigger-Happy Girl Hunt by Modren is in some ways the polar opposite of the previously recommended stories. It’s a lot more care-free, a lot sillier… but it’s in a fun way! And frankly, if you think about it beyond how it’s framed, it’s still dark in fun ways… but it’s FUN and goofy and you should be able to enjoy this even if you’re in the mood for lighter fare than I am as of late!

Bourgeoisie Corruption by Skaetlett is similarly dark, but fun in a different sort of way. Written by someone who understands the socioeconomic stratification we’re dealing with right now, this story is about a punk being turned bougie… but it’s not offensive like that might sound. It’s sexy, and twisted, but it’s hot and really shows an understanding of WHY it’s hot. Read this story!

That’s all for my recommendations, I think!

I’ve been revising stories from 2007 as of late, and it’s been a trip to look back and see how the world has changed. Cellphones were already growing in popularity back then, but they were still a sort of bonus as opposed to a necessity. Smart phones weren’t a thing at all–not like they are now at any rate!

If you wanted to search something on the go, you called someone in front of a computer. If you didn’t have a cell phone you sought out a payphone, and now-a-days most of those are just hollow shells! Wireless phones are still a thing, but they used to be neat with the assumption that by default, phones were wired. You’d sometimes get someone else’s conversation cutting in, and it was a bit of a trip.

Why do I bring these up? Well, these could all very much play a role in how the stories we tell and enjoy are written. Like horror movies, cell phones let you call for help. Batteries can run out, signals can drop, but they’re a constant element now and that can stretch believably if it happens too often without a character’s traits suiting this kind of mistake. Heck, pay phones as a mind control device was I believe an underdog episode? Not a cartoon I saw much. You’re unlikely to accidentally get someone else’s hypnotic call cutting into yours…

In a modern story, anyway.

As I update the Silver Girl series, various anachronisms have been left intact. There’s a VCR in a fancy hotel. Sarah gets her first cellphone, as an adult, during the series. At that point she’s nearly twenty five years old.

It’s a fun thing to stop and consider how stories would be different twenty years ago, ten years ago…

Writing 90’s mind control period pieces should not appeal to me.

Well, that’s me for now! If you’d like to support my work more than by buying my ebook releases, you can also support my patreon! I have a discord for fans to chat with each other, and a discord I administrate for fans of all flavors of mind control! Feel free to drop by!

For now, take care of yourselves and each other.

Please wear a mask, and watch out for local wildfires!

Prelude to Traditions, Applications of Control

Hello again, everyone!

I hope things are going relatively well for all of you. I know I say that every week, but it’s very genuine. If you’re here that means you’re taking the time to care about what I have to say, and isn’t that enough reason to want all of you to be doing the absolutely best that you can?

This week has been a bit of a rest for me after pushing myself for broke and writing for two weeks straight. That basically means nothing else getting more than an hour or two of my time, and putting down at least 5-10k words a day for that while time. It means that the next major Silver Girl release is now in the hands of my editrix, and should be arriving fairly soon~

That isn’t what’s due out next week, of course. That’ll be a lovely new story called “Traditions” that I’m looking forward to sharing with all of you very soon! I think you’ll all rather enjoy it.

Traditions – Coming Tuesday September 1st!

In case any of you aren’t aware, I’ve also been making weekly blog posts, and releasing stories over on my Patreon which you can check out here if you’d like! I also have a new discord server exclusively for fans of my writing, Madam Kistulot’s Domain. I’m still running Mind Control Literature, but since the goal of that space is to not just be my space but be open for everyone, I don’t want to make it too much about my specific writing.

I’ve been working on other little things too, but as you can imagine most of my work for a bit has been on the next major Silver Girl release… The Argentum Project. It’s a story I haven’t gone back to as much, but it’s a real fun one! There were some issues that needed to be ironed out, but also I have a fun little thing to let you all know!

I really want these Silver Girl rewrites to feel the most full they can, to be the most intense, the most detailed, the most sexy, the most… everything. I want these to be the definitive versions of the stories. As a result, when a scene previously faded to black before something sexy, a lot of those sequences? Expanded upon. Obviously this doesn’t always mean back-to-back sexy times. The scenes all still need to have purpose without disrupting the flow of the story, and I think they do that quite nicely.

Just now, instead of knowing more sexy things happened, you can actually read it. Really should have had that policy earlier in my writing, IMHO. It’s making it feel a lot more fleshed out, no pun on ‘flesh’ intended… but I’m not deleting it.

A lot of these posts lately have included story recommendations, and I think I’ll make a few of some older stories that may have slipped through the cracks.

Have you ever read my Application of Control series? It was sort of my take on the Master PC phenomenon but updated for a world based on portable tech.

There are currently three stories in this series…

Present – Volume 1
Presenting – Volume 2
Presented – Volume 3

I’d recommend giving them a look! Another of them might be releasing on My Patreon soon…!

But for now, that’s all I have to say! I hope you and yours keep taking good care of yourselves… and each other!
