I’m sorry to disappoint, but this week my blog entry will be exceedingly short. Thanks to the smoke that’s been wrecking everything in Portland, life has been exceptionally unpleasant. It doesn’t help that I have asthma, as well as other issues that exacerbate the effects of this smoke.

Hello everyone!

I hope that today finds you well. I’m currently in a somewhat… precarious situation at the moment. If things get a little bit worse then there is a very real chance I could be forced to evacuate. I live in Oregon and well…

There are a lot of fires everywhere, the air is basically smoke, and my windows all are glowing a bright and vibrant yellow!

I have no way of knowing what will be coming next, but I’ll be doing my best to not let it affect me any more than it needs to. If it does, I should still be able to blog on the go, though productivity may be… thoroughly affected.

That said, I want to provide some positivity here if I can, so my first topic today? Stories you should read, and can read, right now!

It Rings for Thee by Doctor D. is a story I’ve recommended to anyone who cares to listen, and it’s so close to its conclusion! Even still, we’re getting more lore, more hot twisted flavors of fun… A story of corruption, and twisted wrongness, if you aren’t reading this story you’re doing yourself a disservice!

Saturday Morning Cartoon by Doctor D. is another delightfully twisted story from the brilliant genius who brought you It Rings for Thee! This time the world is post-magical girl, or post-apoc magical girl? I Recommend this one as much for the fun take on the genre as the sexy prose and the fun situations. This one is just starting, so get in on it now!

Tasmania by PlanetSurf is a story I loved from the start, and now that it’s found its stride I love it even more. It had a lot to set up so this newly released second installment could be so sexy… and it is! It is a delight. The darker directions it aims towards are so fun, too! I can’t wait to see what happens next, and I think you’ll be as hooked if you give it a glance.

Trigger-Happy Girl Hunt by Modren is in some ways the polar opposite of the previously recommended stories. It’s a lot more care-free, a lot sillier… but it’s in a fun way! And frankly, if you think about it beyond how it’s framed, it’s still dark in fun ways… but it’s FUN and goofy and you should be able to enjoy this even if you’re in the mood for lighter fare than I am as of late!

Bourgeoisie Corruption by Skaetlett is similarly dark, but fun in a different sort of way. Written by someone who understands the socioeconomic stratification we’re dealing with right now, this story is about a punk being turned bougie… but it’s not offensive like that might sound. It’s sexy, and twisted, but it’s hot and really shows an understanding of WHY it’s hot. Read this story!

I’ve been revising stories from 2007 as of late, and it’s been a trip to look back and see how the world has changed. Cellphones were already growing in popularity back then, but they were still a sort of bonus as opposed to a necessity. Smart phones weren’t a thing at all–not like they are now at any rate!

If you wanted to search something on the go, you called someone in front of a computer. If you didn’t have a cell phone you sought out a payphone, and now-a-days most of those are just hollow shells! Wireless phones are still a thing, but they used to be neat with the assumption that by default, phones were wired. You’d sometimes get someone else’s conversation cutting in, and it was a bit of a trip.

Why do I bring these up? Well, these could all very much play a role in how the stories we tell and enjoy are written. Like horror movies, cell phones let you call for help. Batteries can run out, signals can drop, but they’re a constant element now and that can stretch believably if it happens too often without a character’s traits suiting this kind of mistake. Heck, pay phones as a mind control device was I believe an underdog episode? Not a cartoon I saw much. You’re unlikely to accidentally get someone else’s hypnotic call cutting into yours…

In a modern story, anyway.

As I update the Silver Girl series, various anachronisms have been left intact. There’s a VCR in a fancy hotel. Sarah gets her first cellphone, as an adult, during the series. At that point she’s nearly twenty five years old.

It’s a fun thing to stop and consider how stories would be different twenty years ago, ten years ago…

Writing 90’s mind control period pieces should not appeal to me.

Traditions, new and old!

I hope that this week finds you well! I have a new story out this week, and it’s one that I’m very proud of, and today I’ll be talking a little bit about the cover in greater depth for some fun. Before we get started with the discussions of the cover itself though? I should probably put that cover here, along with links to where you can find it on both Amazon and Smashwords!

This story is a fun one! Betrayal. Family traditions. Sexy women controlling other women and sexy women being controlled… It’s good stuff, if I do say so myself. I recommend picking up a copy today, but I might be a tiny bit biased.

So, with all of that business out of the way, let’s move on to talking about the cover, mm?

At its core, it isn’t a very complicated idea. It’s just a blonde woman with whited-out eyes, some very lovely painted lips, and some words. Anyone who is familiar with the erotic mind control community knows what blanked out eyes mean, and who doesn’t like a nice pair of lips?

By the way, the idea for how I put borders/colored transparent bits under some of the text on my covers? Owed 110% to covers I saw made/used by the brilliant a. regina cantatis, one of my earliest inspirations in fetish writing. If you haven’t read her Tenpack of Trixies or Willing Subject… you are missing out. All of them are good, but that’s where I recommend starting. Anyway, I owe her a lot, and you should buy her books, review them, comment on her blog… etc! Just be respectful that she’s been a bit busy with life to give us more smut. She deserves our understanding!

Whited out eyes is something I’ve found oddly erotic for a very long time. At this point, it’s basically for as long as I can remember? But I really got into it all over again when I found the yahoo groups that would become the Hypnopics Collective way back in the day. They’re all gone now, or they will be when Yahoo remembers how to actually delete them (I swear, Yahoo is just mess after mess after mess…) but for a long time they were the big way to share content online!

A lot of people would make tutorials, showing how to make a beam shoot out from off screen, or some object, and how to make the lighting look good, how to change this or that… and these days, I wish I’d kept a lot more of that. Those tutorials are basically how I learned to use photoshop. I was… bad. Terrible. I still feel my photoshop skills pale in comparison to say… Callidus? But I guess I also don’t have nearly the same level of experience.

So while making covers is a relatively new thing for me (at least covers like this! I actually used to make movie posters and book covers but they were both done with assets I didn’t have the rights to use, and with far fewer concerns than ‘that looks neat!’) theidea of manipulating photos and other art assets to make something sexy and fun? Something I’ve been toying around with for a very long time. That tradition of editing pictures to make something innocent into mind control, or to make something smutty into something kinky, is basically responsible for all of the art I twist today into something for promotion, or for fun!

Things have really changed a lot online, and a lot of us who have been using it since the Netscape Navigator and ICQ days can be a little bit obnoxious about just whinging for the past to return. While I miss things like Livejournal, I think that what we have now, for the most part, is actually pretty great! I wouldn’t want to be stuck back there, or to go back there… but some traditions, like manipulating photos to make them so much sexier in very specific ways?

Prelude to Traditions, Applications of Control

Hello again, everyone!

I hope things are going relatively well for all of you. I know I say that every week, but it’s very genuine. If you’re here that means you’re taking the time to care about what I have to say, and isn’t that enough reason to want all of you to be doing the absolutely best that you can?

This week has been a bit of a rest for me after pushing myself for broke and writing for two weeks straight. That basically means nothing else getting more than an hour or two of my time, and putting down at least 5-10k words a day for that while time. It means that the next major Silver Girl release is now in the hands of my editrix, and should be arriving fairly soon~

That isn’t what’s due out next week, of course. That’ll be a lovely new story called “Traditions” that I’m looking forward to sharing with all of you very soon! I think you’ll all rather enjoy it.

Traditions – Coming Tuesday September 1st!

In case any of you aren’t aware, I’ve also been making weekly blog posts, and releasing stories over on my Patreon which you can check out here if you’d like! I also have a new discord server exclusively for fans of my writing, Madam Kistulot’s Domain. I’m still running Mind Control Literature, but since the goal of that space is to not just be my space but be open for everyone, I don’t want to make it too much about my specific writing.

I’ve been working on other little things too, but as you can imagine most of my work for a bit has been on the next major Silver Girl release… The Argentum Project. It’s a story I haven’t gone back to as much, but it’s a real fun one! There were some issues that needed to be ironed out, but also I have a fun little thing to let you all know!

I really want these Silver Girl rewrites to feel the most full they can, to be the most intense, the most detailed, the most sexy, the most… everything. I want these to be the definitive versions of the stories. As a result, when a scene previously faded to black before something sexy, a lot of those sequences? Expanded upon. Obviously this doesn’t always mean back-to-back sexy times. The scenes all still need to have purpose without disrupting the flow of the story, and I think they do that quite nicely.

Just now, instead of knowing more sexy things happened, you can actually read it. Really should have had that policy earlier in my writing, IMHO. It’s making it feel a lot more fleshed out, no pun on ‘flesh’ intended… but I’m not deleting it.

A lot of these posts lately have included story recommendations, and I think I’ll make a few of some older stories that may have slipped through the cracks.

Quarry, overdue recommendations, and Discord!

Hello everyone!

I hope this week finds all of you well. The world is still a scary, chaotic place for a lot of us right now. I can’t fix it, or do much more than take your mind off of it for a time, but I do genuinely hope if you’re reading this that you’re at least mostly happy.

If I do my job right? Maybe this post makes you a little happier! That’s the hope.

So, to get started? If you missed it, I have a new story out on Amazon… AND on Smashwords! Previously Smashwords sales didn’t really warrant the extra effort and I was doubling-down on Kindle Unlimited. At this time, only long stories feel like they make that pay off. So, for the time being? Silver Girl will remain in KU, but everything else will be dual-posted!

You might be able to guess what long running property inspired the setting for this one. You might not. It’s not fan fiction, but my own take on the idea anyway. Original character and all that. But Quarry isn’t the only thing that I have for you this week! Over on the Mind Control Literature discord (Join us! Join us!) I’ve been reviewing the weekly updates over on MCStories. I’ve been a bit slow to get around to the offerings from this Sunday, but I’ve been very busy rewriting the next Silver Girl novel. However… On this blog, I never got around to the week before, and it was a heck of an update for fans of lesbian mind control!

Recently the FF genre has been getting a lot of new writers, and that’s been great for us! While I recommend you check it out for yourself, I have some highlights.

Human Error by MoldedMind is a very fun “prisoner is a skilled mind controller’ story that even if you know where it’s going, you love the ride and savor the build-up. The prose here is absolutely delicious, and I don’t think you can go wrong with this at all. Highly recommended.

New Neighbor has two more chapters I haven’t read yet, but isadorable is really proving themselves to be a adept weaver of sexy prose. The fun ‘move into a new place, get mind controlled’ story is really on beautiful display here. I can’t wait to see where it goes. Read this!

Tasmania by PlanetSurf isn’t their first story on the archive, but it is their first pink story on the archive, and it is glorious. With fun nods to Tabico, this clearly long-time-reader is doing an amazing job with what I hope is just the start of a much longer piece. Truly some sexy science fiction mind control here!

Trigger-Happy Girl Hunt by Modren is one of those stories with such a goofy premise that leans into it so hard that you can’t help but love it. It has the vibes of a Sammynona story in that way, come to think of it! Highly recommended if you want some giggling with your porn. Who doesn’t, right? There’s no way you read this much of my porn without enjoying a laugh now and then.

Worry Stone by Carey Alphaville is another first time release, and I couldn’t be happier. The way it cuts in snippets of something you wont understand until later (by design) is absolutely lovely. The sexy slow-build of a large conspiracy being revealed is done so sexy here, and it really deserves the sf tag. Read this story!

Finally, City of Breasts by Autumn Oldaker is another story by a new writer that I’m looking forward to seeing more in the future. Her prose needs a little bit of polish, but if you want something fun, silly, and sexy, and don’t mind it being fairly rough it’s hardly a bad read.

Good Health, Good Outlook

Hello, everyone!

I know that things are still precarious for a lot of us. Between our governments actively refusing to cease state-sponsored violence and repression, and the virus that rages on… things aren’t anywhere near where we need them to be. I hope you personally are doing okay, and that neither you or any loved ones are dealing too personally with any of these issues.

Myself? I’m healing. I had a follow-up with my dentist earlier this week and while healing feels to me like it’s taking too long? I’ve been assured by a professional that I look great. That’s done wonders for my morale, even if I’m wanting things to hurry up and be over as far as healing goes.

Still, this is very good news. It means there’s fewer things between you and new writing from me being consistent! Woo! 🙂

This week was another bye-week, but might I recommend an oldie-but-goodie from my back catalogue?

Coiled is an older one of my published works, but it’s one that performed very well. It’s about an adventurer named Alannah and her exploration of a special ziggurat… and the snake-like creature she finds within.

Why do I bring that story up now? Oh, no reason.

Definitely not because of it being a more fantasy-themed story and that being similar, if not identical, to what you can expect from me next week~

That said, I am still hard at work on new stories! In a bit I’ll be putting the polish on a story to come out in another couple weeks, but we have a shorts compilation after that, and after that? A surprise!

One of my back burnered projects may get a bit more time on that part of the stove as I work to get out more Silver Girl quicker. The next major novel will be released serially as it was originally–but not in the same chunks as before. Each chunk will be a satisfying read in its own right, and with how much each chapter has expanded, well… let’s just say it is shaping up to be one thick paperback!

A Very Productive Week!

Finally, I’ve been able to (mostly) recover from my dental surgery–at least enough to be able to get down a lot of fun new words. A lot of my work this week has been on commissions that are likely to end up on the EMCSA, but in the meantime I did release a new story this week. Have you given it a look yet?

This story hit a bit earlier than expected due to Amazon’s unpredictability going quicker which is usually not the way things go! Story Recommendation, Future Plans, & More

Hello again, everyone!

It’s been a very eventful week for me. Hopefully if it has for you it’s only been eventful in positive ways. Recovering from dental surgery has been a far more arduous task than I originally envisioned, but for the most part everything’s just been up and up and up. I’d probably be more positive about my current state if I still had some Percocet lying around, but I’m making due without it more-or-less.

That said, I did finally get around to reading a story I should have read *years* ago… because it was released in 2014 by one of my favorite writers in the MC genre. Plus the title could be said to shamelessly pandering at me.

And that’s before a character has the nickname of “MK”.

What story do I mean? Why of course naturally I mean A. Regina Cantatis’s (known to you familiar with the MCStories Archive as thrall) Union, Reunion: A Tale of Mind-Controlled MILFs

As I said, this is a story I should have looked at sooner because it is incredibly delicious, and hits on so many of the reasons why Ms. Cantatis is known for writing such hot lesbian fetish smut.

It’s got all of the best stuff she’s known for. Sexy mind control? Check. Transformation? Check. A character who kinda wants it but is also at least vaguely sensible but not enough to escape? Check check check. Also a character that shares a nickname with me who is DOWNRIGHT ADORABLE.

If you enjoy mind control, it’s literally a dollar on kindle. Grab it, read it, review it! You will not regret it, and if you do, uhm… well, I’ll be shocked!

Thankfully if I can get a cover cobbled together I may have a release next week! My editrix has been continuing to work her butt off while I’m recovering, and that’s good for everyone! Seriously, thank Kia that I ever get anything in readable shape at all anymore.

Black Lives Matter

Hello, everyone!

This post is late because I was too loaded on Percocet due to a recent bit of dental surgery to figure out how to log on using my laptop. Now that I’m a bit more healed up, my desktop is much easier to use.

That said, this post is less about me and more about drawing attention to an important topic: racism in the Erotic Mind Control community. I typed up a long tweet thread that you can read here, and I would strongly recommend you take a look at that.

Please give that a look, as I feel it goes into some very important depth and I couldn’t recapture it a second time.

As of now I’ve still yet to year back from Simon. That feels reasonable, given what a big deal this is…

But also a new discord has sprung up, beyond the MCL discord, to work on a community project from the ground up to create an alternative to the EMCSA. I still want to fix the issues at MCStories if possible for many, many reasons, but things are on the move to not simply be patient and wait for things to happen.

It’s not my project, but I support it even if I’m not skilled enough to provide much technical assistance.

Still, racism is a major issue in our community. It’s a major issue in a lot of communities. If you have a voice that people will listen to, I feel it’s your responsibility to use it to speak up and make things better.

Too long I was silent, and I know others have been as well? But personal responsibility here is key. This isn’t about shaming anyone else. This is about standing up, saying this is important, and trying to help counter it where I can. I’ve had a lot of BIPOC reach out to me, further educating me about their experiences since I made that series of posts. It’s been enlightening, but none of them needed to tell me these things for me to be able to see there was an issue that needed sorted out. That isn’t to say their words haven’t helped me figure out more about this issue, but none of them deserved me being silent until now. There was enough that I understood just fine.

Support BIPOC authors in our community, be they writers, readers, models, artists… anything.

I’ve mentioned them both before, but hey, if you haven’t read the works of Doctor D. or J. Darksong you may benefit from taking a look and seeing if anything they’ve written is up your alley. The community might look very white from who is highlighted, and what content we’ve ignored in the past, but it is NOT white, and we can do better to make these voices feel safe, welcome, and visible.

Hello, everyone!

Earlier this week I released my first new Amazon release for awhile! Exciting, isn’t it? Sorry that this took me so long–genuinely! It was not intended, and certainly not my hope.

Thankfully, my writing has been flowing much more freely again, and I have a lot more projects on the horizon, including the next volume of the ongoing Adventures of Silver Girl!

But before I get ahead of myself? Elven Superiority is out now! Originally born from a commission, this story has only expanded from that point and I think you’ll all be very happy with the results. If the sound of elven magics, scent based control, and more appeals to you for a slice of lesbian mind control erotica, well… you can’t afford to miss out on Elven Superiority!

It was a very fun story to initially write, and I’m rather sure you’ll all agree that it’s a very fun story to read too.

As for what the future holds?

I’ve been hard at work in a lot of different directions. My secret project continues on, secretly, with the first release for it nearly ready. I want to time it properly so it all comes out in a good flowing order. It’s planned for a serial release, so I hope you’ll all be looking forward to it!

Similarly, the next major Silver Girl release, The Argentum Project, is also being prepared for a serial release schedule. It was originally released serially, and I haven’t experimented with this via Amazon much in the past, but I’ve heard of others (readers and writers alike) attesting to fun with the format… so it seems worth a try!

I also have other projects that are being kept fairly quiet until at least next month. I hope you’ll continue to join me on this adventure. There’s so much more fun lewd content to create, and to consume!
