Hard Work and Child’s Play

Hello again, everyone!

I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday if you had one, and if not, that you enjoyed yourselves regardless! My time was amazing, and while you won’t get much of a blow-by-blow, I can say that Chelicerate is as lovely in person as she is a wonderful writer. That should tell you all that you need to know!

As for today… well, I’m at a bit of a loss! There’s so little left in the year, you know? I should be finishing my goal of writing a million words in 2018 very shortly. I would have sooner, but needing to move and dealing with some other things hit my productivity a touch more than I would have liked. That said, this month has been incredibly productive, and things have continued on their upswing!

Things to look forward to next month?

A sequel to one of my fan favorite works, more flashes… and the introduction of a new series that I think you’ll all quite enjoy! I don’t want to spoil too much!

Not sure what else to talk about today! I’ve been so nose down in my work that I haven’t stumbled across much interesting… Oh. I know what I can call attention to…

Have any of you seen the full Chuckie franchise? Not the modern remake in progress of course, but from Child’s Play 1 to Cult of Chuckie? It’s a horror series that actually gets better as it goes on…

Wanna see a little glimpse of something hot from the last film to make you curious just why I feel the last movie shows glimpses of the mind control fetish?

Take a look right here: https://imgur.com/b8q2dmA

But I think that this blog will be a little light. Sorry! I’m focused on putting out content, which I just realized I’m basically already running two pen names? Between the EMCSA and Amazon, I’ve been doing my best to put things out for two names a month, all the while trying to look for new ways to grow as a writer, and to expand what I’m doing.

Feel free to check out my patreon if you want to support my free efforts, by the way!

But for now, take care of yourselves, and each other. I’ll be back next week with a new post 🙂

Thanksgiving, Black Friday, The Future

Hello everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving if you’re in the states! I should have said something for Canadian Thanksgiving, which I know is earlier, but my memory of foreign holidays isn’t the best. My apologies. I know that the internet is an international space (and that’s how I prefer it, to be clear) so I think I’ll make a special effort to be better about this in the future.

I am currently riding on MAX, Portland’s answer to light rail. It’s a decent enough ride to be sure, and I’m a big fan of how easy it is to get around on public transit—especially considering that I don’t actually drive. Why am I on my way to the airport, you ask? Well, to put your curiosity to rest, I’m here to pick up Chelicerate, the writer of Canary! My girlfriend is coming out to celebrate Thanksgiving, and I’m happy as heck to have her here. I even made a special pie for the occasion, though it’s been awhile since I’ve made pudding so I’m not sure how it turned out yet…

So that means I’ll be pretty busy until she’s back home, but that’s okay. I have her here for a while, and I want to savor that—as I’m sure you can imagine. Don’t worry, though! Tuesday’s release will be coming out just like you’d expect!

Though if you weren’t aware, I’ve recently released my Black Friday themed story. Originally written in 2005, this version is longer, more detailed, and yet at the same time has all of the lesbian heat and mind control goodness that you’ve come to expect from me. It’s also the second Marianna’s Conquests story to be released here, and I hope that you’ll all enjoy it!

Find it here on Amazon!

So, what’s in store for my future? Well, Silver Eclipse, the follow-up to Silver Girl, is currently still with my editors. That said? I do have a sequel I’m not quite ready to tease with, but as a hint? It’s a sequel to one of my most popular works. I think that you’ll all really enjoy it.

Interactive fiction has been on my mind a lot lately, as has diversification. You hear a lot that most writers use multiple pen names, and I certainly have the prolifically in word-count to pull it off, but I wonder if that would be worth it to try. I’d probably try to venture into more standard fare for any alternate persona, but I’d be happy to keep all of you in the loop unless it’s an intentional secret to test something—and even then? I’m bad at keeping secrets for long. I want everyone to see how clever I am. Why not? I’m pretty damned clever, and cleverness is pretty fun.

Ah, and here I am at the airport! PDX is a nostalgic place for me, even if I don’t really fly very much. To be honest, I haven’t flown since I was…. 7 years old? I remember peanuts, and being annoyed by air pressure. That’s about all. Still, I’ve met people I love in airports, and in January I’ll be making my way to the east coast for the hypnocon Charmed. Am I nervous? Yeah. Flying, the first time that I’ll be leaving the west coast… all of that is a big deal as far as I’m concerned!

For now, though, I think that’s a good place to leave off. Please try to take some time today to show the people you love that you care about them. Not because it’s a holiday—though that’s hardly a bad reason. More… loved ones are precious, and you don’t want to be full of regrets later. Tell of your love often, and show it.

Until next time, take care of yourselves, and each other.

Trans Awareness Week

Hello, everyone! I hope that you’re all having a wonderful week so far!

The Adventures of Silver Girl seems to be doing well, which has me super excited. There’s not a lot better than seeing a story that means so much to me succeed. Thank you to everyone who bought a copy, who shared that it’s released… All of you mean a lot to me, because without my fans there would be no point in me doing this–at least not as prolifically as I do it!

Another book released from me this week of course, that being the third volume of my flash fiction series, Pocket Watches and Glazed Eyes: Twenty Tales of Erotic Mind Control.

To pick up a copy, check it out on Amazon here!

The other volumes, Volume 1, and Volume 2, can be found by clicking on their names in this line!

And of course, if you didn’t know, I update my website the day a new release drops, so it’ll always be on the front page ready for you to click and pick up a copy!

That said, you can tell by the title of this blog post that it’s a bit of a big one this week. It’s Trans Awareness Week, which leads right into the Day of Remembrance. It’s a day with a lot of significance, especially because until quite recently literally the only time that you’d hear about trans people was if they were victims of violence. Now you’ll hear about important trans people who are activists, who contributed dramatically to the history of computing, of entertainment, of literature… but that didn’t used to be a thing.

There was one other way that you’d hear about trans people–and that was a punchline. Our media had a very clear message: trans people are a joke, and then they’re killed for being trans. “Trans Panic” is still a legal defense usable in many jurisdictions. To summarize, it means if you kill a trans person and say it’s because you were so shocked they were trans you panicked and killed them, you can get off without consequence/penalty. How’s that for devaluing human lives?

The only way that I discovered there was a difference between transvestites and transgendered people was via reading the Chuck Palahniuk book “Invisible Monsters” and then doing online searches because it seemed so… impossible. Not in a way I wanted to mock, but it seemed like something the world had denied as existing for my whole life.

I was pretty young at the time, sixteen or seventeen. That experience changed my life, and allowed me to begin my transition, to be able to live my life in a way that actually makes me happy about my identity. These days young people learn what it means to be trans through hearing about bathroom bills or other things that demonize the trans experience–or people trying to protect trans people from that. The landscape has changed a lot, and I hope it will continue to change. No one deserves abuse for their identity.

I’ve stayed stealth online because to me, being trans is not something that I enjoy having as an active part of my identity. While to say there’s no difference between being a trans or cis woman would be disingenuous at best, I still dislike being defined by my status as a trans woman. I respect those who loudly celebrate this aspect of their identity, but I do not identify similarly. Maybe it’s due to the many abuses I’ve suffered, from being assaulted, degraded, harassed, stalked… but it’s regardless how I interface with who I am. It probably doesn’t help that before more trans voices started to emerge in the Erotic Mind Control Community, and the Hypno Community, they were pretty… backwards about trans issues.

It’d be pretty fair to say ‘downright shitty.’

Why am I posting this now? While I don’t like it being a part of my identity that is used to define me, I also hate how hiding it has kept me silent. Truscum attitudes are often an accepted part of both communities, and they should not be. Casual transphobia is hardly rare as I’d like. That there are trans people who are loudly and aggressively trans as a counter to abuses against them is not surprising. It’s not my reaction? But I respect it. I value it. I won’t silence it.

I don’t intend to make this something I talk about very often, but there has been too much death, too much injury, too much abuse, and too much suffering associated with trans identities, and as someone who has been told by more than one person that I was important in helping them define their sexuality… I don’t want to force myself to be silent all the time because I want to stay in the shadows while also not wanting to appear to be using ‘assumed cis’ privilege to discuss trans issues.

This is a week of awareness, because even in a time where people are aware trans people exist the awareness that many trans people are self-isolated because of a world that has taught them they are unwelcome, unsafe, and unwanted… that’s not as well examined. The issue of “should trans people be allowed to pee without harassment” is a major one, but it all comes down to a question of “should trans people be allowed to exist without constant abuse” and it’s all too obvious far too many people say ‘no’ on a regular basis.

This trans week of awareness, try to be aware of the trans voices around you, of the potentially trans people around you that you are unaware of, and the future trans people who will live in this world and need to interact in it based on how we grow our society today.

Let’s make it so the Day of Remembrance doesn’t need to add more names.

Let’s make it instead, so more trans people feel safe existing.

Until next time, take care of yourselves, and each other.

Silver Girl Excitement!

Hello again, everyone!

So, I’m a fair bit Silver Girl focused at the moment, but can you blame me? The dream of having a row of Silver Girl on my shelf is a not insignificant reason why I wanted to get into publishing.

I figured that I should try talking about The Adventures of Silver Girl a little bit more, in a different way. Even though I’ve gotten a lot of great responses to it since, at the time it was originally more mixed. The writing had a lot of problems with it originally-paragraphs were the same size and shape, paragraphs weren’t split very smoothly, and there was some criticism over the lack of outright sex.

While later stories are far more than merely explicit, the original Adventures of Silver Girl isn’t the most full of depictions of sex. Sex clearly occurs, but it isn’t the primary focus of the erotica. The mind control is the focus of the erotica. We follow a first person ride to explore the way the mind control effects Silver on a very intimate, personal level. Though more sex fills later stories, it still does so in an effort to express and explore the mind control more than merely for the eroticism that may be inherent to the act.

Silver Girl has always been a story that lived on its variety of methods, and on the way our heroine experiences them… and the way she grows as a person throughout the series. This may just be part one, but early next year we’ll be seeing the release of Silver Eclipse, a story I’ll talk about more when that’s released.

Of the original Silver Girl’s cast, perhaps the character that has always been the most powerful is The Lady. The woman at the top of those 100 stories, the woman in charge of Chronos, the power that The Lady wields is not to be underestimated. That said, Pink and Dust are memorable characters that many have loved over the years, and been happy to call their favorites. Between the two, I might be more partial to Dust, but Pink has a special place in my heart, too.

So while there’s far more to see in Silver Girl, I think I’ll leave it at that for now. Unfortunately while Silver Girl being released is a very exciting experience, I’m spent this week, and a good chunk of last week, fighting off a very frustrating illness.

Next week, the third volume of my erotic mind control shorts series will be released! In the meantime, however, please take a look at The Adventures of Silver Girl here on amazon… and why not feel inspired to do so by this little piece of art commissioned from Mute Alice to commemorate the release?

Until next time, take care of yourselves… and each other!

The Adventures of Silver Girl–now available!

The Adventures of Silver Girl

By day, Sarah LaSilvas is a waitress working for a woman named Linda who runs her own diner. By night, she becomes Silver Girl and takes to the rooftops to defend those who share her home of Midas City. Most of her patrols are uneventful, but when they aren’t they’re always memorable.

Silver Girl’s life is turned upside down when she receives an invitation from a mysterious woman sent by the company Chronos. They claim to offer training, supplies, and funding to supers. When she goes to their 100 story headquarters to refuse, she is drawn into a web of hypnosis, mind control, and far more intimate situations with the women of Chronos than she would have ever imagined. An erotic, fetish fueled tale of brainwashing, hypnosis, and superhuman mind control.

The first in the multi-part series of Sarah “Silver Girl” LaSilvas, this story has been rewritten extensively from its original 2005 release and is now nearly twice as long. This has not been used to fundamentally reshape the narrative, but to expand upon scenes to make the hot moments hotter. With a new cover by Rotem Dishon, this version of The Adventures of Silver Girl keeps everything that made the original great while giving it the benefit of editing, and thirteen years of experience.

Blessed Samhain, Happy Halloween, Day of the Dead…!

Hello, everyone!

I know it’s a day late, but Halloween is the best time of the year, so… why would I let a single day steal my fun?

Especially when I can share this adorable art again:

Aurora LaSilvas is pretty damned excited about Halloween, too! And there’s something else that’s worth being pretty excited about, ya see…

The Adventures of Silver Girl is being rereleased as an Amazon exclusive next week! It’s pretty damned exciting to me. Silver Girl is the story that really started me down the path that’s taken me to where I am today as a professional author. It’s been an amazing feeling, getting this far… and it’s been thanks to all of your support. It really has meant a lot to me, and I think that you’ll all love this rewrite.

For a long time I had a complex about rewriting Silver Girl. I was a big fan of the original star wars trilogy when I was younger, and really disliked what was later done to it. Small changes to a work can do a lot of things, and for A New Hope, Empire, and RotJ…? Most of these changes aren’t for the better.

That said, it needs to be said: The originally released draft of “The Adventures of Silver Girl” is, simply put, a mess. There’s really no two ways to put it. I don’t mean the lack of a strong central plot or anything silly like that. I mean that the grammar is atrocious. There are plenty of times dialogue switches speaker in a paragraph due to conversion from Deviant Art to Plain Text–because yeah, ages ago, Silver Girl was first released on Deviant Art–and other little things like that.

This draft changes nothing structurally. It does properly encapsulate her backstory as it would later be, but I’m not changing that to match the first book, so this change is well… only appropriate. The mind control scenes have more weight. The writing overall is much more tightened up, and expanded upon in equal measure.

It’s also an extra 90% or so longer. Some people may find that displeasing, and I apologize, but I felt this best expressed the story of Silver Girl’s first adventure.

I hope that you’re all looking forward to it. I’m so excited about releasing it that the button might be pressed early enough to make it released on Monday instead of Tuesday… but it’s going to be a paperback, and a kindle unlimited release. The book is about a pound and a half, and it has some HEFT to it. I think it’ll look really good on a shelf!

I’ll probably post here when it releases, and… just about everywhere that I can. This is going to be a big deal to me, and I hope that you’ll find it a big deal, too.

I know this is a bit me-centric, and not very exciting about anything else? But I’ve been very focused on creative output this month so I don’t have the most to talk about.

I can say one thing: Canary is probably going to get an update. I’m not the writer, but I am her girlfriend, and she’s promised to be spending tonight working VERY hard to get something ready for me and her other closest friends to edit before it gets sent to Simon.

This week is also the end of In Another Life. It’s a story that has been a long time in coming, but I think I’ll talk about it a lot more once it’s out and done, or… we’ll see!

In the meantime, I hope that you have a wonderful day… take care of you and yours!

Bad Blood, Mind Control, Countdown

Hello everyone!

I hope that the Halloween season is treating you all at least passably well and that you’re all doing your part to take care of yourselves! It’s important that we take an active part in our own well being when the world can be so stressful and unpleasant. Don’t worry though, this isn’t all going to be that sort of stuff–I just want to be positive and encouraging where I can be.

Last weekend I watched Batman: Bad Blood. It had Kathy Kane as Batwoman so I was excited. Even with it having Damian Wayne, I was willing to give it a chance.

It’s nothing that I’d recommend for outstanding vocal performances (Kathy’s VA is phoning it in) and it can be a bit eye-rolly in general, but it also did get a few chuckles from me and was overall not actively unpleasant. About halfway through the film–or forty five minutes in is more accurate I think? You find out that Batman isn’t dead (okay everyone knew he wouldn’t be, because batman “being dead” is a pretty classic fakeout) but has been kidnapped by Talia in order to brainwash him with the help of Jarvis Tetch, aka the Mad Hatter.

If you enjoy shlocky action and don’t mind some iffy character moments, some bad voice acting, and other little signs that it was rushed out the door, I don’t want to spoil anything… but I will say that the big scene at the Wayne company meeting was sort of… I swear I’d written a scene that hit so many similar beats before. In a good way. I wrote it better, but sadly it’s currently offline until I can get revisions done up through the Electrum & Nebula series.

Comic book superheroes are a place a lot of us in the MC community got our start, I’d imagine. I watched no shortage of superhero cartoons as a kid, from the Super Friends, to the DCAU, to the sad attempts Marvel made at matching it. I liked the X-Men and Spider-man shows for the most part, but they had a lot more moments of bad writing and laziness–this got worse and worse in the Fantastic Four, The Hulk, and the Iron Man/Avengers show.

There are so many great mind control episodes, though. There’s Batman: The Animated Series with episodes like “Perchance to Dream” which I first saw in black and white with the start cut out due to how it was recorded on VHS (made it so unreal in a great way), or many appearances of Poison Ivy… The Mad Hatter there, too… Superman’s animated series had Darkseid’s corruption of Superman…

And the Justice League had everything from Roulette with super heroines turned into slaves in underground fighting arenas, to Superman trapped in his own dreams of a better life… Or Sauron’s eye beams… Seriously, comic book cartoon adaptations have always been chock full of mind control goodness–even The Return of the Joker, the film for Batman Beyond (or Batman of the Future for those of you ‘cross the pond).

Any bits of mind control in comics you’ve especially loved, that you’d want to highlight? In original comics, or adaptation? I hardly mentioned everything, so feel free to comment.

The Adventures of Silver Girl is now officially 110% ready to go for the 6th–that means that there’s only one more story release between now and then. Possession, the 4th volume of Halloween Screams: Tales of Sapphic Treats. It’s the longest of the lot, and a bit of a romantic touch, too.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy some of my current offerings, such as Volume 3, A Night on the Edge of Forever!

You can find the rest of it here!

take care of yourselves, and each other… and I’ll be here to wave your way next week!

Charmed announcement!

Hello everyone! I hope that October has been full of spooky joy for everyone.

On my end it has definitely been enjoyable, and productive! For one? I’ve finished Silver Eclipse’s third draft! For reference, there was the draft 13-12 years ago, and I… never edited it! At all! I’ve done that now, and it is in the hands of my editors! 🙂

It took a long time, and it got expanded by a fair bit, coming in around 140k! Pretty impressive for a story that was originally 81k! The original was plenty good, but in my humble opinion it was still an amateurish work. I feel like the new draft gives a reader a lot more to sink their teeth into!

That said, this blogpost’s big announcement is that I will be attending the Baltimore hypnocon Charmed! 2019! I hope to be there with books, and some swag like pens and bookmarks. That sounds like a fair bit of fun. We’ll see on those details, but I know for sure that I’m looking forward to meeting people, and being seen in public as the Madam Kistulot!

Given my fame is very digital, I don’t really get recognized in public! I look forward to the new experience.

To learn more about Charmed! you can go to their website here!

For now though, that’s all of the excitement that I have to offer! Don’t forget that there are two of my Halloween stories now available, Wanting S’more, and Be Yasmine, both links to where you can get them, and Volume 2 of Pocket Watches and Glazed Eyes: Twenty Tales of Erotic Mind Control!

Until next time, take care of yourselves… and eachother!

Business As Usual Feels Nice!

Hello everyone!

So I didn’t want to be worrying to anyone, but the last couple of months were not my most productive. It was a little stressful at times–but moving will do that! Moving, living situation stresses, trying to make this new place feel like a home… it was a little bit draining. Now, however? Things have been burning forward at a pace that I’ve come to expect from myself. It’s really nice.

That means lots of new words down! Some of them for things that won’t be released anywhere for months? But others for Patreon exclusive rewards. You can find details on how you can chip in to my monthly Patreon and get flash fiction, shorts, and more for just a little bit of cash every month right here!

In other news, my latest flash collection is out! I really hope that everyone likes it! Flash fiction is something I used to have complicated feelings about. Now? I just love writing it. I think I might write some more later tonight for some future collections. If you want to take a look at it on Amazon, then you can find it here:

Pocket Watches and Glazed Eyes: Twenty Tales of Erotic Mind Control Volume 2 is on Kindle Unlimited now!

Other things: The author copy of The Adventures of Silver Girl is on its way to me. It’s 460 pages, and is 1.5 pounds, which to me sounds… insane. I can’t wait to have it in my hands so I can give it some final glances before November 6th–the official release date, and the 13th year anniversary of the initial release to the EMCSA!

Last week was largely busy with Silver Eclipse, which is only needing a final pass before my editors get a look. The cover is being worked on again by the amazing artist Rotem Dishon, and it looks… so incredibly good so far. I hope that I can excuse getting another for The Memory Remains!

This weekend I watched an old favorite movie of mine, John Carpenter’s “In The Mouth of Madness”. If you like creepy, bizarre, lovecraftian films? Check it out. The score is great, and Sam Neil does an amazing job in the lead role.

Looking forward to getting up to some good reading soon from some old favorites, and the new stories on the archive and elsewhere. For now I think that’s the most interesting thing I have to share, so… Until next time? Take care of yourselves, and each other!

A Productive Week

Hello everyone!

I hope that you’re all as excited for October as I am. Halloween, or Gay Christmas (I’d prefer Queer Christmas myself, more inherently inclusive a term in my experience) is probably the best holiday of the year. I can be a bit of a sucker for the cool winter cuddle holidays, but Halloween is all about wearing a mask to express things more loudly than you could with your face exposed.

Who doesn’t love powerful imagery like that?

Think of it for a moment: how can you chose a costume without revealing that you wanted to wear it, or if you settled for it, that you’re desperate for validation and to be a part of the holiday that you’ll settle for any costume? There’s a lot of potent revelations about people if you look at how they cloak themselves when they can chose anything, when there are so few limitations…

I like to wear a cloak, or other variations on a cape. That probably says a lot about me. For one, that I like capes.

Bad humor aside, this week started the release of my Halloween anthology, Halloween Screams: Tales of Sapphic Treats. It has three volumes that will be released this year though who knows, I might try for a fourth. Next week is going to see the release of another flash fiction collection though, and that promises to be interesting.

In the meantime… I’ve been burning the midnight oil, and the wick from both ends. On what, praytell? Why, Silver Girl is all but ready to go to print, scheduled for a November 6th release… so I’m already burning ahead. Silver Eclipse is already first-pass revised up through chapter 10 of 17. The process for this is to go from start to finish, revising, tearing through… Then work on another project or three, then come back and do the same again, and then finally have my editors look over for anything that I’ve missed. They were truly invaluable in helping with The Adventures of Silver Girl, and I’m sure they will be with Silver Eclipse, too.

Have you come across any delicious mind control tidbits lately? Have any stories that have caught your eye, movies that strike your fancy, etc?

Reach out, let me know! I’m always looking for something new and delightful!

For now, I think that’s all from me. I’ve been a bit deep in my own work but I wanted to peek my head out. As reminder, I have a Patreon campaign going. Once a month it gets a story no one gets for at least a month without being a subscriber, I write flash fiction for everyone who pays $5 or more, and there’s opportunities to commission a whole story from me if you have something 5-10k you’d like to see! You can check my patreon out here for more details!

I’ll be back next week? But in the meantime… Take care of yourselves, and each other!
