Last week, Red Moon Rising’s compilation released, and that means that the final story in Silver Girl’s adventures has come to an end. Instead of a countdown to the next Silver Girl story, there’s now a number of days since she’s started to take therapy.
Amusing timing, given that I finally have an appointment with a therapist in a couple weeks!
There’s some life imitates art there, but I think I’ll just leave that aside for the moment!
Coming next week however will still be more stories that move on from the point where Silver Girl’s adventures ended. Scribe and Shadow follows mere weeks after Red Moon Rising!

So, what else is coming from me?

So, I’d love to make this a very long post about a lot of different things… but unfortunately my whole apartment caught COVID-19, and while I’m starting to feel better (nearly a week later, and after feeling pretty horrible) I’m mostly trying to just take it easy.
Please, get boosted, wear masks, socially distance… take it incredibly easy! I was boosted and masked, and it still feels this awful. Feeling better is incredibly relative and I don’t even know if I could end up with any long term effects yet.
This is my first blog post utilizing my new desk! I’m very happy about my new setup, and I expect it will help me get a lot of very productive things going in short order. That always makes me pretty happy.
Next week we’ll be seeing part 3 of To Patrol and Control drop, and that will be pretty great! It’s the first of the original stories from this part of the Silver Girl series, and I’m looking forward to that as I hope you are, too!

Amusingly, around this time fifteen years ago I only had one story up on the EMCSA. The Adventures of Silver Girl, an incomplete tale of super heroines and mind control. There were a fair few chapters posted, but not enough to make me feel good bout the name Madam Kistulot having only ONE story under it, so… I wrote another story.
And at the time, the name “Black Friday” hadn’t really registered so instead, I named it “The Day After” and now it’s on Smashwords!

And that’s a fair bit of fun to start off an update with, I think.
This weekend is Halloween! A fun holiday if ever there was one. Masks, candy, staying in doors and practicing social distancing, all of the fun is there! I’m not the sort of woman who goes to parties or anything (who would have thought a writer would be reclusive) but I know this year has things a little different for everyone.
Hopefully you have some fun alternative plans, and if you need some suggestions? Beyond reading smut, this is the perfect time for a movie marathon. I’ve done years of Halloween films on Christmas, namely Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm Street, and the Child’s Play/Chucky franchise. Hellraiser is a lot of fun with a few big duds later on in the series (though the latest is quite fun!), Nightmare is a constant up and down, and Child’s Play surprisingly got better as the films went on.
I haven’t seen the remake, and it’s divorced from the original people so I wouldn’t really want to, but Cult of Chucky? Severely underrated film.
The Treehouse of Horror series is a big one for me, too. I tend to watch those every year, though I haven’t gotten to it yet this time around.
Whatever you read, or watch, or do? I hope you have a great time. Another film recommendation would be for the 1986 film “From Beyond”. It’s rent or buy from Amazon video, but I’m sure you can find it lots of other places, too. Good classic Stuart Gordon horror flick with Jeffrey Combs. Can’t go wrong!
